Maintenance Tech
Haven Harbour Marina Resorts is seeking a skilled and reliable Buildings and Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair and safe operation of our buildings and physical infrastructure. This includes performing routine inspections, handling minor repairs, coordinating with contractors and maintaining the overall functionality and aesthetics of our facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Carry out general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, carpentry and painting
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain and troubleshoot lighting systems, access control systems, fire safety equipment and building automation systems
- Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices
- Assist in facility-related projects such as renovations, office setups and furniture installations
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment warranties and service contracts
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR HAS:
- Capacity to be a full-time, year-round employee
- Ability to be on-site at our two Rock Hall, Maryland locations
- 2 years’ minimum experience with carpentry, and basic electrical and plumbing repair
- Driver’s license and guaranteed transportation
