  • Pricing

    Do low-speed vehicle (LSV) prices differ at different times of the year?

    Yes. Prices vary during in-season and off-season times for both 4- and 6-seater vehicles. Pricing options are available during both seasons and for both models at half-day, full-day and 2+ day rates.


    Is a security deposit collected?

    Yes. A deposit of $500.00 is collected at vehicle check-out to cover potential damages. If there are no damages, the deposit will be refunded to the original form of payment.


    Are there any fees levied for late returns?

    Yes. A $50.00/hr. late fee will be collected for every hour your rental vehicle return is delayed.

  • Rental Agreement

    All low-speed vehicle (LSV) rentals require completion of a rental agreement, which serves as a binding contract. This agreement holds the leasing party responsible for any and all damages to Haven Harbour Marina Resorts property.

  • Usage Tips

    Drive Safely and Responsibly

    Low-speed vehicles (LSVs) are designed for low-speed travel on local roads and resort property. Obey all traffic rules, speed limits and posted signage.


    Stay on Designated Routes

    Use the vehicle only on approved roads and parking areas. Avoid unpaved, off-road areas to prevent damage and maintain safety.


    Check Battery and Mechanics

    Ensure your LSV is fully charged before use, and monitor the battery regularly when in use. Please report any mechanical issues or unusual vehicle behavior promptly to resort staff.


    Parking and Storage

    Park in designated areas only. Always secure the vehicle and remove personal belongings when not in use.


    Respect Others and the Environment

    Keep noise to a minimum, abide by posted speed limits and be courteous to pedestrians and fellow resort guests.

  • Legal Requirements

    In order to rent a low-speed vehicle (LSV), one must:

    • Be 26 years of age or older.
    • Posses a valid U.S. drivers license.
    • Complete the required (1) rental agreement, (2) check-out inspection and (3) return inspection surveys.

    What rules and regulations apply when renting and operating an LSV:

    • At all times, the vehicle's operator must posses a valid U.S. drivers license.
    • No driving is permitted beyond the corporate limits of Rock Hall (Maryland law prohibits the operation of LSVs on roadways for which the posted maximum speed limit exceeds 30 miles per hour).
    • No driving while under the influence.
    • No racing, towing or transporting passengers for hire.
    • No additional passengers permitted beyond the stated vehicle capacity.
    • Safety belts (and car seats, as needed) are required when vehicle is moving.
