Dog days of yacht service

Summer is prime-time for boat usage and the necessary maintenance that accompanies said wear and tear. A major priority during the summer months is engine interval maintenance. When a vessel reaches usage benchmarks such as 50, 100 or 250 hours, it signals time to perform routine inspection and preventative servicing – and for good reason, too.

"Engine interval maintenance is important for the life and safety of the motor," Haven Harbour Marina Service Manager Bill Neff stated. "It helps prevent costly repairs down the road."

Other summer-specific projects include air conditioning and engine strainer maintenance, as well as routine rigging inspection.

Take to the water knowing that your vessel is in perfect running condition by contacting Harbour Harbour Yacht Services. We're more than happy to perform a complimentary diagnostic analysis or draft a quote for any sized project.
