For some, Haven Harbour and Toby Perry are synonymous; they go hand in hand. That typically is the result of when an employee stands the tests of time with a single company for so long – 33 years this month to be exact. Just stop and think, 33 years ago was 1989, a world that some might look back on and call "simpler." During this time, Toby has built relationships with his fellow employees and has personally gotten to know our most longstanding customers – some of whom having been part of the Haven Harbour family just as long as he.
"I've enjoyed it," said Toby. "It's nice to look back on those you've worked with over the years."
Toby, born and raised in Rock Hall, held a few marine-related jobs before finding his way to Haven Harbour Marina. Once here he headed the lift crew, among other duties, and continues to play important roles in bottom painting, washing, waxing and facility maintenance.
When asked if retirement was on the horizon, here is what one of Haven Harbour's longest serving employees had to say, rather simply: "I'm taking it day by day."
Please join us in thanking Toby for his dedication and service, it surely has not gone unnoticed!

Aside from its first-class marinas and easygoing approach to Chesapeake Bay living, Rock Hall is also home to several sailing schools available to students both young and old.
We are thrilled to announce that Ark & Dove Restaurant and Lounge at Haven Harbour South is open, now under new management and care by the skilled team at So Coast.
