Meet our 2025 Dock Crews
Haven Harbour Marina Resorts • July 24, 2025
Every boating season brings a colorful mix of new and familiar faces to the docks at Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South. As seasonal roles, these positions are primarily filled by college and high school students taking full advantage of their summer breaks.
Bella Hinefelt, pictured above at right, is now in her third year on the crew, hails from Rock Hall and will be entering her junior year at Kent County High School this fall. She’s an avid athlete, participating in both soccer and track and field.
Also in his third year is Bryce Jacobs, pictured at center above, another Rock Hall native and Kent County High junior-to-be. Like Bella, he enjoys soccer, but also plays lacrosse and shoots pool.
Maddie Krafchik (not pictured) is a recent addition to the crew. A fast learner, she’s quickly getting up to speed. Maddie is homeschooled, lives in Rock Hall and plays travel lacrosse.
Katie Falls (also not pictured) returns for her sixth non-consecutive season on the crew, serving as our experienced assistant lead. She initially worked the docks here from 2017-2021. A Chestertown native and graduate of Kent County High School, Salisbury University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Katie holds a master's degree in social work and works full-time as a social worker at Rock Hall Elementary.
"I'm excited for what this season will bring," said Bobby Fisher (top left), now in his fourth year as dockmaster at Haven Harbour Marina. "We have one newcomer in Maddie and three seasoned professionals in Bella, Bryce and Katie.”
In his third year, James Cosenza, pictured above at far left, joins first-year Dockmaster Tony Hendrick, center, on this year's Haven Harbour South dock crew. James, who is from Fairfax Station, Va., spends summers here in Rock Hall sailing and running.
Joining James are second-year dockhands Brody Capel and Alli Hendrick. Brody (pictured front left), plays baseball and will be a sophomore at Kent County High School this fall. Allie (front right), entering her senior year at Kent County, enjoys spending time with friends and is looking forward to life after graduation.
“We have a very capable dock crew this year,” said Tony. “We’re working together to ensure smooth operations and a full marina.”
Tony transitioned from Haven Harbour South’s lift crew to his new role as dockmaster during the past off-season. Originally from Pittsburgh and a retired Washington, D.C. police officer, he now calls nearby Tolchester home.
Last but certainly not least, longtime dockmaster of both Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South Denny Herrmann, above at far right, assists the team with pool maintenance and facility upkeeping tasks.
Our dock crews take pride in delivering top-tier service to slipholders, transient guests, yacht service customers and visitors alike. We are grateful for their continued dedication and commitment to excellence.
