Stars, stripes and peak summer vibes

July 7, 2025
This year’s Fourth of July celebration was nothing short of spectacular. From dazzling fireworks to a lively parade, the weekend on-site and all around Rock Hall, Md. was filled with moments of joy, community spirit and plenty of patriotic flair.

The holiday weekend kicked off in stunning fashion on the evening of July Third. Guests and locals gathered at Haven Harbour South’s beach, where the sky came alive with color during the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company’s annual fireworks display. The reflections dancing on Rock Hall Harbor created a magical scene — an unforgettable start to the celebrations.

Early the next morning, several of our employees laced up their sneakers to join community members and visitors in the Rock Hall Flat Five, a festive road race held each year on the Fourth. The event continues to be a favorite tradition for fitness enthusiasts and families alike, bringing together all ages in the name of fun, health and holiday cheer.

Later that morning, Haven Harbour proudly participated in Rock Hall’s beloved Independence Day Parade, rolling through town with a float that embraced the theme “Lost at Sea.” Decked out in creative nautical décor and high spirits, the float was a hit with onlookers lining the streets waving flags and cheering. It was a wonderful way to celebrate not just the holiday, but our maritime heritage as well.

Throughout the weekend, patrons of Passages Bar & Grill and Admirals Beachside Bar enjoyed an exciting lineup of live music, delicious food and refreshing drinks. Whether you were sipping a cocktail by the water or dancing to local tunes under the stars, the holiday spirit was alive and well at both dock bar locations.

From start to finish, this year’s Fourth of July weekend was filled with meaningful moments, shared laughter and community connection. We are so thankful to everyone who joined us — our guests, staff, neighbors and visitors from near and far.

Wherever and however you celebrated, we hope your Independence Day was filled with fun, family and a touch of Chesapeake charm. Here's to summer at Haven Harbour, and many more unforgettable moments to come.
